Re: Welding rock slidders

Get some sample pieces that you can weld together, then cut through, to adjust amperage and wire speed. I found my Lincoln 140 could burn nicely into 1/4 plate if bevel ground. I was able to dial wire speed back enough. Practice, practice, practice...

Re: Hi-steer

I tried plotting through all of the questions for my TJ. I had worn out 3 sets of Currie HD. Final decision was to go to WJ knuckles/calipers for a high steer/brake upgrade. With the assistance of Elias 4wd, I've been running a TNT high steer trackbar & brackets and Ruff Stuff 1ton crossover ste...

When I was coming back onto 131 from the detour, I saw it parked on 131 and there were several people further down toward Southbridge so I figured you must have been one of them. But you were too far for me to wave.

Re: Dear Pat C...

Maybe it's because you weren't driving your Jeep. My Jeep goes with me to details. It's either in the road with crew vehicles or parked on the side of the road. Never far away from me. Showing up for details with no top/doors on a detail usually gets attention from other officers I have not worked ...

Re: Body Armor Rock Sliders, 97-06 Jeep Wrangler, TJ, Rubicon

Thats a shame. I bought mine in 2005 and I've dragged them quite a bit. I do have a minor dent in one, but it was a hard hit.

Re: TIRE INFO

THANKS FOR THE INFO. THE TOE IS GOOD BUT ITS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THE MORE THE LIFT AND THE LARGER THE TIRE SIZE, MORE CASTER IS NEEDED. IS THIS CORRECT? MY PROBLEM IS THE WHEELS DONT RETURN TO CENTER COMING OUT OF A TURN Less caster is needed with larger tires. If you're using shackes for lift, t...
