Is bear hunting allowed in Rausch? I hear there might be somebody with a grudge against a bear there...

Re: Saw my first Gladiator this week.

I saw my first Gladiator in the wild in Lincoln, NH Sunday. I second Randy's comment: the wheelbase is too long for New England trails. It might make a good overlanding platform, though, where the terrain is usually easier.

Re: Is this Your Next Jeep?

You could mount a blade on the front and use it to push obstacles out of the way (trees, rocks, people). Frank, I had to look up 'fuggly' in the dictionary. BSJ is always an education. One 'benefit' I see: it has 50% more wheels and axles to break, so it will empty your pockets that much more quickl...

@ChristopherM Did the registration ever come back? If this can be done by mail, it is a great innovation.

Re: Time to Switch to Rock Sliders?

I have the Rock Hard 4x4 tube sliders. I love 'em! They have saved my bacon (not to mention my Jeep) several times. The stock Rubi rails just bolt to the pinch seam, and aren't really strong to begin with. Something that bolts to the frame is the best choice.

Re: Genesis Dual Battery System: Install Photo

I really like this install. I installed a deep-cycle battery, but going with dual batteries and more sophisticated charging and distribution is on the wishlist, especially since I plan to run the (essential) fridge, winch, radios, and possibly additional lighting. I've been having trouble with the c...

Fuel tank skid plate, ham radio install, replace crappy OEM battery terminals. With the summer work done, I'm in a much better spot now!
